Who am I?

I'm Diego Ortiz, a Jr. DevSecOps professional, taking the first steps on my Cyber & Cloud Security path.

My career is built on a solid 20+ year trajectory leading technical teams, managing high-pressure projects, and solving complex workflow problems for top-tier global Visual FX Studios.
Today, I am channeling all that experience into my true passion: DevSecOps and Cloud Security. By combining my background in team leadership, risk mitigation, and pipeline optimization with rigorous, up-to-date technical training, I offer a unique perspective to the tech industry.

I excel at analyzing workflows to implement solutions that are not only secure and scalable, but also cost-effective. As I step into this new chapter, my goal is to blend my professional maturity with a constant drive for learning—bringing a sharp, analytical approach to driving automation, shifting security left, and keeping digital environments thoroughly protected.

It was an awesome journey that let me learn all about the AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification. Cybersecurity Diploma (Linux Server Admin)

UTN – Facultad Regional Delta / 2025

It was an awesome experience playing both sides of the coin —Red & Blue Team— to understand how to both attack and defend systems. I got my hands dirty learning how to hunt for vulnerabilities and, more importantly, how to lock servers down tight. Now, I’ve got a much sharper eye for spotting threats and keeping infrastructures secure. It was an intense journey, but I’m coming out of it with a solid set of technical skills.
